Wilhelmine
Christa Lösel called Wilhelmine (the red dress tailoress) was born in 1955 in Nuremberg and worked there as a teacher from 1978 to 1992.
From 1992 to 1998 Wilhelmine studied art at the Academy of Fine Arts in Nuremberg under Professor Hanns Herpich and Professor Werner Knaupp (master student of Professor Werner Knaupp).
Wilhelmine was awarded the Scholarship HSP II of the Bavarian Ministry of Culture for her project "Wilhelmine - tailor of the City of Nuremberg" from 1999 to 2000.
From 2000 to 2003 Wilhelmine was artistic assistant with Professor Werner Knaupp and Professor Christine Colditz at the Academy of Fine Arts in Nuremberg.
Since 2002 Wilhelmine works as art teacher at the Adam-Kraft-Realschule in Nuremberg.
Wilhelmine lives and works in Nuremberg.
