Christiane Pfohlmann
Christiane Pfohlmann was born in 1968 in Bamberg, Germany.
At elementary school, her career aspirations were already perfectly clear. She used the school days at the high school for intensive experiments in portraiture and caricature because every 45 minutes a new model was available involuntarily at the blackboard.
The first regular buyer of her work was the "Fränkische Tag" which still publishes every week her contributions to the local politics. Gradually more notable media were added. A number of German newspapers and magazines, including Focus and Spiegel showed Pfohlmann's political cartoons. And of course they can always be seen in the net on www.pfohlmann.de. Christiane Pfohlmann occurs incidentally under the symbol CHRISS also live as quick sketcher (www.schnellzeichnerin.de) and currently also teaches at the University of Regensburg Cartoon and Caricature.
Christiane Pfohlmann lives and works in Landsberg am Lech. Her caricatures are shown in the Spiegel, Focus, Financial Times Germany and many other magazines, newspapers and textbooks.
