Zygmunt Januszewski (1956 - 2013)
Zygmunt Januszewski was born in 1956 in Warsaw, Poland.
From 1976 to 1981 he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw.
Zygmunt Januszewski’s oeuvre includes drawings, illustrations, graphics, poster art, book illustration, installations and poems.
He showed his works in more than hundred individual exhibitions in Poland and abroad.
From 2000 to 2002 he was Professor at the International Summer Academy Salzburg.
From 2003 to 2013 he was head of Illustration at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw.
Zygmunt Januszewski is represented many public collections including the National Museum in Warsaw and Victoria and Albert Museum in London.
Zygmunt Januszewski died in 2013 in Warsaw, Poland.
