Wolfgang Harms

was born 1950 in a small village in Bavaria, in the district Dillingen a. d. Danube.

At 13, he made his first attempts to paint with oil paints. After completing a painting apprenticeship with master painter Eugen Rieß in Donauwörth and studying at the University of Applied Sciences, he completed his studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Nuremberg (Meisterschüler). He was assistant to the Academy President Prof. G. Voglsamer for five years and has been a freelance artist since 1978. Studying masterpieces he has developed his own personal style.

Wolfgang Harms lives and works in Nuremberg.
