Gerd Bauer (1957 – 2017)

Gerd Bauer was born in 1957 in Bamberg, Germany.

From 1982 to 1986 Gerd Bauer studied art at the Academy of Fine Arts in Nuremberg under Professor Heinz Schillinger.

Since 1986 Gerd Bauer worked as graphic designer, illustrator, modeller, children's book illustrator, cartoonist and comic artist.

Gerd Bauer received the ‘Kulturpreis’ of the City of Nuremberg in 2016.

Gerd Bauer died in 2017 in Nuremberg, Germany.
