Marlis Albrecht was born in 1956 in Ludwigsburg, Germany.
From 1987 to 1988 Marlis Albrecht studied art at the Academy of Fine Arts (Freie Kunstschule) in Stuttgart, Germany.
Since then Marlis Albrecht is a professional painter with numerous national and international exhibitions of her work.
Marlis Albrecht’s pictures are cheerful-ironic, but without malice. She loves the creatures, which she paints in an unusual virtuous wax and tempera technique.
Marlis Albrecht lives and works in Möglingen, Germany.
