Valery Konevin - Paintings

Valery Konevin was born in Leningrad in 1952. In his paintings the artist resorts back to his Jewish and Russian roots. They awaken memories of Chagall as well as Russian icon painting. Constant element in all his works is the cosmos: sky, stars, moon. Even a return to one's own life is evident in his paintings. Konevin was formerly an engineer for Rakentenbau.
